WhatsApp Plans To Introduce Free Voice Calls In 2015

Whatsapp is in full swing to introduce new user friendly features and encourage more people to download its app. WhatsApp had planned to introduce free calling service this year. But, unfortunately, it has been postponed to 2015.

Voice calls will be enabled on WhatsApp’s new 4.5.5 version
Voice calls will be enabled on WhatsApp’s new 4.5.5 version
Reports state that, at present, WhatsApp does not have full access to microphones of selective handsets. Due to this limitation, the noise cancellation would be more difficult.
WhatsApp will add a 4-button series, which will include options like call mute, switch to text message, directing the call through device speaker and hanging up. The Fuse Joplin reported that the new free calling feature will be offered on WhatsApp’s new 4.5.5 version. On dialling the number from your WhatsApp contact list, a colored ‘call in progress’ bar will appear on WhatsApp.
Engineers of WhatsApp are also working on making WhatsApp voice calls accessible to areas which have very low network or EDGE coverage. The new free calling feature will give WhatsApp another reason to be a tough competitor to Hike, WeChat, Line and other such apps.

Govt. Issues Notice To Flipkart For Its Billion-Day Sale, May Impose Rs 1000 Cr Penalty

Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a notice to Flipkart for its billion day sale and likely to impose Rs 1000 cr penalty for violating rules during it’s Big Billion Day Mega Sale on 6th October.

This isn’t related to selling pendrives for Rs 1/- which went Out Of Stock within fraction of seconds.
According to media reports, the ED is likely to impose a penalty of Rs 1,000 crore on the online shopping website for violating FDI rules. ED sources have said that Flipkart arranged money through FDI and arranging money in e-commerce through multibrand is violation of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

Flipkart’s mega sale, was Indian version of Black Friday sale in the USA where products are sold at throw away prices.
Flipkart claimed to have crossed $100mn in sales during the billion day, though several brands have complained about Flipkart’s predatory pricing tactics.

Meanwhile, Flipkart has issued a statement saying, “we are in complete compliance with the laws of the land and will cooperate with authorities when required.”
We would like to know from our viewers, what did you buy during Flipkart Big Billion Sale and what are your views about this penalty!!

Why is it called Windows 10 not Windows 9?

Windows 10 logo: Windows 9 kinda

Updated 6:39am October 2:
I’ve added two other alternative (conspiracy?) theories on why it might be called Windows 10 rather than Windows 9. I would take these theories with a large pinch of salt — but I’ve included them because they’re just about feasible enough that they might actually be real.

Blue LED Inventors Awarded Nobel Prize For Creating White LED Lighting Revolution

Blue LED

As you probably know, we’ve had red and green light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for a long, long time — but blue LEDs, for a variety of reasons, had evaded our scientists until fairly recently. This is why all of your old gadgets — TVs, VCRs, modems — were adorned with red and green LEDs… until out of nowhere, at the end of the ’90s, blue LEDs were suddenly everywhere.

Ebola-Killing Robots Now Being Used In US Hospitals

Xenex Disinfection robot, or Ebolabot

The “robot” is not much more than a UV lightbulb on wheels at his point, but it is perhaps a preview of more evolved defenses yet to come. The $115,000 device is made by San Antonio-based Xenex Disinfection services and currently does battle with viruses and bacteria in some 250 hospitals across the US.

Android L 64-bit preview finally released – but only for x86. Where’s ARMv8, Google?

Android cakepops/lollipops
After announcing that Android L would support 64-bit hardware way back in June, Google has finally released a 64-bit Android L developer preview emulator image. Curiously, though, it’s a 64-bit image for 64-bit Intel chips (Atom/Bay Trail) and not ARM. With Nvidia’s 64-bit Tegra K1 supposedly just around the corner, but no tools for developers to actually create or prepare 64-bit ARMv8 apps, what exactly is going on?

8 Bollywood Item Numbers That Were Massive Fails

Not every item number catapults the movie it belongs to the upper echelons of box office success.

    Some item numbers have the munnis featured in them getting badnaam and for all the wrong reasons;
Thank God It’s Friday, Himmatwala
Umm, can anyone find a polite way of breaking it to Sonakshi that we had nothing remotely to be thankful
about in her uninspiring item number in Himmatwala apart from the fact that it is over and our eyes will
never have to suffer through that atrocity again?
Sonakshi Sinha

Babli Badmaash, Shootout At Wadala
She may have finally gotten her act together, but let us not forget that behind every successful
Ram Chahe Leela is one Babli Badmaash whose very memory makes us cringe.
Priyanka Chopra

Mehbooba, RGV Ki Aag
Given that the movie Urmila’s number belonged to tanked badly, it probably shouldn’t have come as a
surprise that this reprisal of the popular 70s track followed suit. Like movie, like item number.
RGV

Pinky, Zanjeer
Tacky outfits combined with even tackier choreography, all of which were packaged together with yet
more bland beats. All in all, suffice it to say that this particular item number isn’t one that PeeCee will
want her foreign buddies Pitbull and Will.i.Am to ever get their hands on.
Priyanka Chopra 1

Tinku Jiya, Yamla Pagla Deewana
So, let’s see… Watching a cinematic legend gyrating with a wannabe from the Kannada film industry?
That ranks just above a marathon viewing of KRK’s entire assorted filmography on our bucketlist.
Tinku Jiya

Jalebi Bai, Double Dhamaal
If the scintillating Maiyya Maiyya was anything to go by, we thought that Mallika at least had the sizzling
item number stakes covered, right up until the decidedly bland Jalebi Bai set us straight. Looks like
Mallika needs to scratch out the one and only entrant from her bragging rights.
Mallika Sherawat

Dekhta Hai Tu Kya, Krazzy 4
Honestly, the title of the song makes for one helluva pointless question, ‘coz no matter what we’re
watching, this absolutely forgettable excuse of an item number ain’t it, so Rakhi Sawant can breathe easy.
Krazzy 4

Laila, Shootout At Wadala
You know the times are bad when even the promise of watching a skimpily clad Sunny Leone,
complemented by an equally hunky John Abraham, can’t save your item number from sinking without a trace.
Laila
