Google Apps Referrals Will Now Get You Paid
Get Paid For Referrals From Google |
Looking to earn a little extra cash? It's probably not going to make you a millionaire, but Google on Monday launched a new apps referral program that could fatten your wallet a bit.
As part of the new program, the Web giant is essentially bribing you to peddle its apps. Simply refer someone to Google Apps for Business, and you'll receive $15 for every user who signs up based on you recommendation.
"Many of the millions of Google Apps customers learned about tools like Hangouts, Drive and Gmail for business from their customers, friends and networks," Prajesh Parekh with the Google Apps marketing team, wrote in a blog post Monday. "The referral program makes it easy to share Google Apps with your network and show them how they too can use these tools at work."
The program is currently open to anyone in the U.S. and Canada. If you're interested, you'll first need to head over to Google's website to sign up. After you register, you'll receive a unique referral link, which you can email to all your business-owning friends. Even better, you don't even have to think of what to write in your email, because Google has templates you can use.
When someone takes the bait and signs up using your unique referral link, Google will reward you with $15 per user, deposited directly into your bank account. You can refer an unlimited amount of people, but the rewards aren't endless. You'll only score a bonus on the first 100 users per business.
