Oppo Find 7 could have a 50MP camera

News reports have been brewing that the new flagship from Oppo, the Find 7, is definitely up against the Samsung Galaxy S5. At least that’s what the hardware specifications are confirming.

Well, the Oppo has been making news recently with their newest entrant, the Find 7. The phone boasts of a UHD display with a fastest processor and a bog camera. Yes, on the hardware front, the specifications seem that it can beat the Samsung Galaxy S5 face down, but the true performance and quality will be known only after the two handsets are released and scrutinized.

GizChina reported that the Oppo teaser ads were targeted at the S5 for sure. For now the Find 7 has confirmed internal hardware which includes a 5.5-insh 2K display (2560x1440 pixels), 4G LTE and 128 GB microSD card support. Other leaks suggest the processor being a 2.26 GHz Qualcomm processor and internal storage of 32 GB. Surely, the price is a lot cheaper than the S5 when it hits the market.

Recent news suggests that the Find 7 is equipped with a 50 megapixel camera. A few photos around the internet also proved (by EXIF information) that the camera has a resolution of 8160 x 6120 pixels and was taken by the Oppo Find 7.

The Oppo Find 7 is set for debuting on March 19th in Beijing. We are not sure whether the final specifications will disappoint us (if we refer to the leaked specifications as true) or will it wow us. On the other hand, if the camera information is true, and it really performs as well as its number spell, then for sure, we can see Nokia and Samsung feeling the heat. So let’s wait until the launch and hopefully, when we physically get our hands on a piece.
