You Can Buy Google Glass Tomorrow
You can buy Google Glass tomorrow... if you live in the US
Have you been infuriated that Google has made Google Glass available to just a handpicked fraction of possible users? Well turn that frown upside down - we have good news for you.
For a limited time on April 15th at 9am EDT, the search giant will open its doors and allow anyone to join its Glass Explorer program and order a set of its trendy Explorer Edition Glass online.
It is unsure how many units exactly will be up for grabs, but the company claimed in its Google+ blog post that quantities will be limited.
The initiative is probably Google’s shot at gaining feedback from a wider audience before it pushes its Web-ready glasses out to the public.
“Every day we get requests from those of you who haven’t found a way into the program yet, and we want your feedback too,” it said in its blog post.
Costing US$1500, the offer is valid to all adult US residents with a US shipping address.
For those in other parts of the world desperate to get them on your face, get your friends, relatives or contacts in the US to help score you a pair.
Google Glass can be booked here. And if you don't fancy wearing a computer on your face, perhaps these readily available wearable devices will be more fitting for you.
