Samsung's rumored upcoming ' A series' of smartphones has been leaked on multiple occasions so far, and this time around - the anticipated SM-A500 and SM-A300 have again been tipped.

We start with the first anticipated launch in the series, the mid-range SM-A500, which is now tipped to be called the Samsung Galaxy A5, and has been leaked in purported live images. Sammobile, the website that earlier reported the device to feature a full metal body, now in a report suggests that the device's body "feels cold in the hand" but apparently isn't made of metal or plastic. It adds that the company is reportedly using "some unique material in order to keep the device's cost down while still maintaining a somewhat premium feel."

The design of the smartphone seen in the purported images of Galaxy A5 appears to be similar to that seen in the allegedly corresponding SM-A5000 listing images on Tenaa. It is also said to be similar to Samsung's recently launched Galaxy Alpha smartphone, by which the A series is said to be inspired.

Apart from a change in build materials and new leaked images, the Sammobile report continues to tip the same specifications as previously expected. The rumoured SM-A500 is said to include a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display; a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor; a 5-megapixel front camera; a 13-megapixel rear camera, 16GB of inbuilt storage, and a 2330mAh battery.

In the meanwhile, another rumoured smartphone from the anticipated Samsung A series, the SM-A300, was spotted in an official user agent (UA) profile listing as SM-A300F. The smartphone is likely to get dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A3 at the launch.
The UA profile listing( viaGalaxy Club) for the SM-A300F suggest the smartphone to have a similar qHD (540x960 pixels) display as the earlier tipped GFX bench specifications (SM-A3000), although the clock speed is listed on the UA profile as 1.4GHz instead of 1.2GHz for the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC on the benchmar results.Previously, the GFX bench listing for the SM-A3000 had included the smartphone to feature a 4.8-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) display; a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm(ARM v7) processor with an Adreno 306 GPU; 1GB of RAM; a 7-megapixel rear camera; a 4.7-megapixel front-facing camera; 8GB internal storage and Android4.4.4 KitKat.
