Nokia Launches 8-inch Lollipop Tablet

Yesterday Nokia teased a mysterious product on its Twitter page. Now we know what this mysterious device is. On a product page, which was live on the Nokia website briefly before it was taken offline, the company revealed that it is launching an Android tablet with 8-inch screen. The tablet is called N1.

As Nokia and Microsoft close in on their deal on 25 April, we might never see Nokia produce the phones that it used to. And before that happens, let's take a look back at 10 most iconic Nokia phones that revolutionized the mobile industry.
Come this April 25, Nokia as a phone manufacturer might no longer remain the same. Microsoft and Nokia have already reached a deal and on Friday, the software giant will finalize the deal by buying the phone maker for $7.3 billion. There is even a certain speculation that Nokia could be renamed as 'Microsoft Mobile'. While the rumor isn't official yet, Microsoft is taking over Nokia's devices and services division anyway and only time will tell if we will keep hearing the name 'Nokia'.

Nokia had announced its first Android family of smartphones at MWC 2014 in Barcelona. While the mobile platform on all the three smartphones is based on AOSP (Android Open Source Project), it doesn’t really give a feel of the Android ecosystem but yes, you can install Android applications on them.

NoKIA :: UpCoMinG DeViceS
^ Nokia has a number of devices that are lined-up this year.
The company has already released the company's latest flagship devices including Lumia 1520
and Lumia 1320, which are both 6 inch devices. In an affordable range, the Finnish smartphone
maker has launched the Lumia 525 bundled with a free games worth Rs. 2000 from Gameloft.
^ The Microsoft owned Windows Phone maker is currently rumored to come with
a number of devices in the coming months. The company has already sent out press invites for
its event at the Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona, Span in the February 25.
Thus most likely, Nokia will reveal all these devices then.

Introduction
Asha phones. They take you a long way, but yet make you always want more. In this case, more would mean something with Windows Phone inside. Looks like the right thing for Nokia to do - keep customers in the Lumia waiting room, and away from Android temptation. That said, the Ashas have been putting the smart in dumbphones for a while now, so a cheap droid isn't the only option that users shopping for a touch phone with apps, games and fast data can afford.
